Brussels Airport Expands with One Hundred Destinations, Seven New Airlines, and Six Exciting New Routes for the Summer Travel Season

Brussels Airport is set to make waves this summer with its expanded flight offerings, bringing travelers more than 180 direct destinations across the globe. Starting on March 30, the airport will serve as a hub for 68 airlines, offering travelers unprecedented access to destinations both near and far.

With six new routes and seven new airlines joining its network, Brussels Airport is positioning itself as a premier international gateway, catering to a diverse range of travelers from around the world.

Expanding Horizons: Six New Destinations

The summer season at Brussels Airport brings exciting new destinations, enhancing the already extensive network of flights. For those dreaming of distant shores, new routes will connect Brussels directly to Curaçao and Bangkok, expanding options for both leisure and business travelers.

Additionally, the airport introduces direct flights to Bordeaux and Montpellier in France, perfect for city trip enthusiasts. Starting in June, Delta Airlines will provide flights to Atlanta, opening up access to key U.S. destinations, including the sunny southwest and Florida. Finally, Cathay Pacific will begin direct services to Hong Kong in August, connecting Brussels with one of Asia’s most vibrant cities.

Seven New Airlines and Enhanced Connectivity

Brussels Airport is also welcoming seven new airlines, further strengthening its connectivity across the globe. Thai Airways International and Cathay Pacific are the newest additions to Brussels’ growing Asia network, now offering non-stop flights to Bangkok and Hong Kong, respectively.

Norwegian will expand its European network with a new route to Oslo, while Air Albania, Chalair, FlyOne Armenia, and Transavia will also add exciting routes, including services to Tirana, Brive, Yerevan, and Montpellier. These new airlines ensure that Brussels Airport remains a key player in connecting passengers to various corners of the world.

In addition to these new arrivals, longstanding partners like Brussels Airlines are enhancing their offerings. Brussels Airlines now serves 90 destinations, with expanded routes to Sub-Saharan Africa, adding five weekly flights to key African cities.

TUI and easyJet continue to strengthen their presence, adding destinations like Split (Croatia) and Milan, further diversifying travel options for summer.

Strengthening Global Network and Providing Greater Travel Choices

The new summer season also solidifies Brussels Airport’s status as a hub for long-haul travel, with 39 direct routes to global destinations.

Passengers can now travel seamlessly to North America, with direct flights to Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and Montreal. In addition, Brussels will maintain strong connections to popular regions like Central America, Africa, and the Gulf, offering travelers even more choices for international adventures.

The airport’s summer plans reflect its ongoing efforts to expand and improve connectivity, ensuring safe, efficient travel for millions of passengers.
